The Engine Data Concentrators are designed to provide electrical interface to a wide variety of engine sensors. These include temperature, pressure, speed, engine fire, quantity, proximity, and position sensors. All sensor information is then transmitted via a databus back to the aircraft for use by other systems. The Engine Data Concentrators are designed and qualified to meet the harsh temperature, vibration, and EMI environments associated with the engine strut/pylon mounting locations.
