The auto fuel feed controller was developed to replace an existing system consisting of up to 30 fault and control relays. The original system required a significant amount of system knowledge in the reliability of the relays decreased with age. The auto fuel feed controller has been designed to interface directly with the existing aircraft systems and requires no change to the flight crew interface. Built in test (BITE) and ARINC429 capability significantly improve the performance and reliability of the auto fuel feed controller.
