Float Switch Transient Suppression Device

Transient Suppression DeviceGoodrich Fuel & Utility Systems has developed a Transient Suppression Device (TSD) compliant with 14 CFR part 25.981 and draft AC 25.981-1C, to limit current and energy from entering the fuel tank on float switch wires.. This device was granted an alternate means of compliance (AMOC) to FAA Airworthiness Directive AD 2004-15-04 covering Boeing 737-200, 200C, 300, 400, 500 series aircraft. This device has also received approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
