Goodrich Fuel and Utility Systems have developed a variety of fuel indicators to accommodate a wide range of aircraft applications. Indicators are provided in both analog and digital formats and can indicate fuel quantities in pounds or kilograms.

Analog Indicators

These indicators present a traditional analog display of the fuel quantity for the selected tank. These indicators are typically referred to as “dial and pointer” devices that consist of a rotating pointer and a background dial scaled for the selected application.

Analog indicators consist of signal conditioning electronics, power supply and displays. These indicators use analog electronic circuitry and motor driven servo technology and can be configured either as primary or repeater displays. Goodrich provides OEM repair and service for its range of legacy Simmonds Precision indicators.

Digital Indicators

Digital indicators display the fuel data as alpha-numeric information. Digital displays are provided in several variants depending upon the system architecture. As stand alone units they contain the signal conditioning, power supply and display information. Their data interface can be any serial digital data bus including ARINC 429, RS232, or CAN bus interfaces.
