Isolated Fuel Quantity Transmitter

Isolated Fuel Quantity TransmitterThe Goodrich Isolated Fuel Quantity Transmitter (IFQT) is specifically designed to meet the requirements of Airworthiness Directives 98-20-40 and 99-03-04 for Boeing 747 Classic and 737 Classic aircraft.  The IFQT's are designed to limit energy and current from entering aircraft fuel tanks while preserving the operation of the existing fuel quantity measurement systems. This is achieved by physically inserting the IFQT in series with the existing fuel quantity wiring. Utilizing the latest technology available in fuel tank safety, the IFQT precisely measures the fuel quantity using existing in-tank hardware. The fuel quantity data is passed through an isolation barrier to special circuitry that drives the existing fuel quantity hardware to display the correct fuel quantity.
