Transient Suppression Device

Transient Suppression DeviceGoodrich has developed a Transient Suppression Device (TSD) as an alternate means of compliance to FAA Airworthiness Directive AD 99-03-04, Fuel System Wire Separation for Boeing model 737 Classic Series Aircraft. The TSD design meets the wire separation requirements by employing intrinsically safe isolation techniques to inhibit electrical ignition sources from entering the aircraft fuel tank without affecting the fuel measurement system performance. The TSD offers a cost effective way for your Boeing 737-300, 400, and 500 series aircraft equipped with Goodrich Digital Fuel Quantity Indicating Systems to comply with AD 99-03-04.
