Goodrich Corporation, Fuel
and Utility Systems developed a proximity sensor product line in
the mid-1990's in direct response to requests from airlines to solve
sensor reliability problems in the field. A line of proximity
sensors was developed drawing on many years of experience manufacturing
robust magnetic speed and torque sensors for aircraft engines. These
sensors, in both the round and rectangular versions, have been utilized
for functions including landing gear, passenger doors, service doors,
cargo doors, thrust reversers, and various flight control surfaces.
Goodrich proximity sensing systems are available for new aircraft and retrofit applications. |
